DESCRIPTION
LOVE IN DICTATORSHIP. The tragic story of Pilar and Jean is a short documentary filmed in December 2020 in Amsterdam. The film tells the story of the spouses Jean Awad and Pilar Báez, who died during the Trujillo dictatorship in January and November 1960. Their daughter Pilar Báez Awad, author of this documentary, explains the causes of the death of his parents.
WHAT WE DID?
This project was a co-production with Stella Productions (Spain). We were involved in the pre-production phase and recorded the interview, sound and b-roll in the film.
The video accumulates more than 190.000 views online.
